    Raja,
I am not sure about Nimishamba temple. But I can give the route for the rest.

    Bangalore-Maddur-left towards Malavalli-Shivanasamudra-Talakadu-bad roads start-Somanathpur-Mysore

But I would suggest you to miss Somanathpur as roads are bad and go to Mysore.

Price of Reva is terribly high for a farmer like me. I have solar panels of 1800 watts which is connected to a pump & domestic circuit. I do have a surplus of about 10 units a day. It can easily charge & my daily run is about 40 km. unfortunately cannot afford it & not being income ptax payer, I have no depreciation benefit.

your reva page rejected this as dublicate
  • Mohan · 10 months ago
    Hi Thejesh,

I am Mohan, have a self hosted wordpress blog. I came across your comment on one of the blog with openID. I have an issue altogether with my openid on wordpress blog. I am able to comment on sites using my open id. However, instead of displaying my name, it shows up as ‘blog’ if i enter my open id url as “http://mohanbn.com/blog”. Similarly, it displays as ‘mohanbn.com’ if the open id url is entered as http://mohanbn.com.

Any idea on how to over come this and to display my name as just ‘Mohan’ instead of ‘blog’ or ‘mohanbn.com’?

Appreciate any help to solve this. Thanks in advance.
  • Thejesh GN · 10 months ago
Probably it takes the title of the page?
Where did you try to login> blogger.com?
  • Mohan · 9 months ago
Yes, thats correct. Not only on blogger, even on wordpress blogs it shows up the title instead of name.
  • Sathya · 10 months ago
Thejesh, Good morning, this is Sathya, i am a frequenter to your blog, well, i think i can pose you one question which has been boggling me from the past one year...of course dont be particular abt that one year. any way, my doubt is , while opting for a career, should we chose technology or domain.
hmm, let me make it clear, i have 4 + exp development related exp in Java platform, and basically i like technology, find pleasure in coding. But off late, i often hear people say, coding or technology can be laid hands by anyone, if u need to growp up , u need to learn the domain. And now i am confused, while opting for a job, should i focus on the domain or functional aspects of a job or the technology involoved in it?

    Hope u got my confusion...

    awaiting ur reply

    Hello Sir,

This is Sindhu, I am a mass communication student. I have taken up
Fastrack as a case study for Online PR. So I would like to ask you a
few questions regarding the topic, since I have read your Fastrack
    review.
    1) As a blogger, what do you have to say about the online initiatives
    of Fastrack ?
    2) Do you think, the reviews help in building the brand image of Fastrack?
    3) Do you think online medium is an effective medium for PR activities
    for consumer electronic products?
    4) How did Fastrack contact you ?

The information will be used only for academic purpose. It would be
great if you could help me with the information. Thank You for your
    time and effort.

    1) As lifestyle product company it is always important to get the feedback from the users. Since the users of FastTrack is facebook generation ( 14 to 34). I guess it is very important to use social media. If it is done non intrusive way then it can yield good results.

    2) Yes. Lot of buyers do online research (review readings) and hence it is very important. Also for teen ( or youth ) brands..brand building online (internet) is as important as offline.

    3) All most all the electronic gadgets that I have bought have been heavily researched ( or searched) online. Doing PR activities online gives the impression that they can be reached easily online.

    4) By Email

    Hello Thejesh,

Thanks for the inputs, I have a few more questions to ask

    1) How did the Fastrack team contact you ?
    2) Do you think that the reviews influence the decisions of potential
    customers ?
    3) If there are contrasting views (eg: If the review is positive and
the comments of those who visit the blog are negative about the
product) then will it decrease the credibility of the blog ?

Thank You for your effort and time.

    Regards
    Sindhu

    1) How did the Fastrack team contact you ?
They contacted me through mail ( http://thejeshgn.com/contact ). Now why this picked me, I dont know. May be because they got to know that I am passionate about gadgets.

    2) Do you think that the reviews influence the decisions of potential customers ?
Probably. Its a difficult question to answer. But in past I have been influenced by other blog posts about the gadgets I want to buy, hence my answer bends towards Yes.

    3) If there are contrasting views (eg: If the review is positive and the comments of those who visit the blog are negative about the product) then will it decrease the credibility of the blog ?
I dont think so, Blogs and comments are here to give your personal opinion. When I write a review, I am usually not paid for that, I do it for the sake of sharing. My readers know it and hence me/readers are open about it.

Your article on OAuth was very nice.

    My question is as follows:

I want to login to orkut(a social networking website of Google) through a java program and not through manually by using a browser. After having logged in to the ORKUT, I want html source of any page whose URL I specified in the program and whose access require log in.

So that I can extract required information from that page and then proceed to next page.

What would be the best approach to login to orkut through java.

Currently I am doing this through Selenium (used for testing) but this involves a browser to access ORKUT and I don't want a browser in between my interaction to the orkut as it slows down the speed with which I want to access ORKUT.

Can OAuth help me in this. How?

Hi Thej! (thanks for the rich browsing experience provided by your excellent site!)

I was considering buying a new car, and at first it was i10, then zeroed in on Maruthi's AStar, and then Alto looked quite good given my limited usage. But it was so small and almost like an auto, the 'new car' feel was not there. So now my current favorite is a Wagon-R, and was pleasantly surprised to see you have one.

Would you recommend it, and if you were to buy a new car now, would you suggest one shells out 1 lakh more to buy a Swift/Desire (2 months waiting period).

Many thanks - and would be great to meet you if feasible (I live in Padmanabhnagar)

how do I get the tweet4blood widget for my blog?
  • Thejesh GN · 1 week ago
If you want to add a badge which shows latest two messages you can use this
    <div id="twitter_div">
    <h5>Recent Requests</h5>
    <ul id="twitter_update_list"></ul>
    </div>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://twitter.com/javascripts/blogger.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/tweet4blood.json?callback=twitterCallback2&count=2"></script>

or if you just want to show the image you can use this, modify the image width as you want

    <center><img src="http://media.thejeshgn.com/img/logo/tweet4blood.png" alt="" width="250" border="0" height="71"></center>
  • Thejesh GN · 1 week ago
And thanks for adding it :) Let me know if you need any help.
  • nisha · 1 week ago
Hi Thej. Thanks for the code. It gives me 'Recent Requests' but not the last two requests and the tweet4blood symbol but it is not active-does take me to the site.
  • Thejesh GN · 1 week ago
I see that you have added the widget and its showing the requests. Thanks.

Add an a href tag around image with http://tweet4blood.com link so the image becomes a link..for some reason I am not able to paste the actual code. I will try to do it.
  • Thejesh GN · 1 week ago
You can get the modified code at

    http://tweet4blood.com/widget.html
  • nisha · 1 week ago
Thanks, Thej. I can see the last two requests but the tweet4blood is not active.
